Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 + Package

We are working in partnership with a well-established and growing main contractor to recruit a talented Quantity Surveyor to join their team based out of their Chatham office. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic business delivering a diverse range of projects across London and the South East.

Our client specialises in high-quality construction schemes, with a strong pipeline of work spanning fit out, refurbishment, and cut & carve projects. They are seeking an ambitious and commercially astute Quantity Surveyor who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing project costs from inception through to final account
  • Preparing and reviewing subcontractor packages and procurement schedules
  • Valuations, variations, and cost reporting
  • Liaising with project teams, clients, and subcontractors
  • Ensuring projects are delivered within budget and in line with commercial targets
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a main contractor environment
  • Experience in fit out, refurbishment, or cut & carve projects is highly desirable
  • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Relevant construction qualification (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent)
