The Role
As a Junior Mechanical Estimator, you will support the estimating team in preparing accurate and competitive tenders, while gaining hands-on experience working closely with clients, suppliers, and internal departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the preparation of mechanical estimates for HVAC and Plumbing packages
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
- Supporting with take-offs, cost planning, and supplier enquiries
- Assisting senior estimators with pricing and tender submissions
- Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations
- Supporting the commercial and project teams during project handover
- Maintaining accurate records and estimating documentation
