Hill McGlynn Recruitment is working in partnership with a residential developer who is seeking an experienced Groundworks Foreman for a permanent position on a site near Camden. This role is ideal for a hands-on Foreman with a strong background working for a groundworks subcontractor and experience delivering residential projects to a high standard.
Responsibilities
- Supervising and coordinating groundworks activities on site
- Managing subcontract labour and ensuring works are completed safely and efficiently
- Overseeing drainage, foundations, external works, and associated groundworks packages
- Ensuring works are delivered in line with programme, drawings, and specifications
- Maintaining high standards of health & safety and site housekeeping
- Liaising with site management and reporting progress
Requirements
- Previous experience working for a groundworks subcontractor is essential
- Proven experience in a Groundworks Foreman or similar supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of residential groundworks packages
- Ability to manage site teams and maintain productivity
- Must be available to start within the next 6-8 weeks
