The Role

As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing long-term partnerships, and driving growth through established relationships with housing associations and key stakeholders across Essex. Working closely with senior leadership teams, you will play a pivotal role in expanding the company's regional presence and securing new residential development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with housing associations throughout Essex
  • Identify and secure new business and partnership opportunities
  • Build strategic relationships with local authorities, landowners, agents, and developers
  • Lead negotiations and support the delivery of commercial agreements
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity across the residential sector

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Business Development role within residential development, affordable housing, or construction
  • MUST have existing relationships with housing associations throughout Essex

  • Commercially driven with a proactive approach to generating opportunities
  • Full UK driving licence
