The Opportunity
Hill McGlynn Recruitment is working with a growing construction client based in Medway who is looking to bring on an Assistant Design Manager / Design Coordinator to join their young and dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who is looking to develop into a Design Manager role, working closely with experienced professionals in a supportive environment.
The Role
- Supporting the Design Manager across multiple construction projects
- Assisting with the coordination of design information and documentation
- Administration and note-taking
- Carrying out general administration, note-taking, and other support tasks as part of the role
- Working with site teams and consultants to ensure smooth project delivery
- Using systems such as Procore and some AutoCAD
- Opportunity to attend London-based projects when required
About You
- Background in construction or design coordination
- Familiar with (or willing to learn) Procore and AutoCAD
- Hands-on, resilient, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Motivated, career-driven, and eager to learn
- Based within a commutable distance to Medway
- MUST live within commutable distance of Chatham
