Hill McGlynn is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a valued client for an experienced Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) to join a residential cladding project based in Stevenage. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a permanent role with a reputable contractor delivering essential remediation works within an occupied residential environment.

The Role: As a Resident Liaison Officer, you will act as the key point of contact between residents, the site team, and project stakeholders. You will play a crucial role in ensuring clear communication, minimising disruption, and maintaining positive relationships throughout the lifecycle of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, addressing queries and concerns promptly and professionally
  • Provide clear and regular updates on project progress, timelines, and upcoming works
  • Coordinate access to properties where required for inspections and works
  • Manage complaints and resolve issues efficiently, escalating where necessary
  • Work closely with site management and subcontractors to ensure resident needs are considered
  • Maintain accurate records of resident interactions and project communications
  • Support community engagement initiatives and meetings

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Resident Liaison Officer or in a similar customer-facing role within construction or social housing
  • Experience working on cladding or external façade projects is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage challenging situations with empathy and professionalism
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Full UK driving licence (preferred)
