As part of continued expansion and increased workload, they are seeking an experienced AC / Refrigeration Engineer to join their team. The Company: Our client is a reputable Integrated Property and M&E Contractor with over 65 years experience in keeping buildings performing safely and efficiently across the UK. With a steady stream of repeat business and new enquiries, they offer long-term stability and genuine progression opportunities.
The Role: As an AC / Refrigeration Engineer, you will carry out servicing, maintenance and reactive repairs on a range of air conditioning and refrigeration systems across commercial sites. You will also participate in a 1 week in 4 on-call rota.
Key Responsibilities:- Service and maintenance of AC and refrigeration systems
- Fault finding and reactive repairs
- Working on split systems, VRV/VRF systems and refrigeration units
- Ensuring compliance with F-Gas regulations
- Completing service documentation
- Participating in a 1 in 4 on-call rota
- F-Gas qualification (essential)
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (preferred)
- Proven experience in AC and refrigeration maintenance
- Full clean UK driving licence
- Based in London, Kent or South East
- Own van preferred (company van and fuel card provided if required)
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- £50,000 - £55,000 basic salary depending on experience
- Permanent position
- Time and a half paid for call-outs
- On-call 1 week in 4
- Call-outs rarely later than 10pm
- £30 bonus per successful fix on call-out
- Company van available
- Fuel card provided
