Hill McGlynn Recruitment is seeking a reliable, vigilant Fire Marshal / Fire Watcher to join our client’s safety team at Prospect Park Hospital in Reading. This is a crucial night-shift role ensuring the ongoing fire safety of the premises through active fire-waking patrols.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct regular fire-waking patrols throughout the night
Identify and report fire hazards promptly
Monitor alarms and follow safety procedures
Maintain accurate logs and incident reports
Support onsite teams in maintaining a safe environment Requirements
Must be local to Reading or able to travel reliably to the site
Previous fire marshal/fire watcher experience is ideal
SIA licence beneficial, but not mandatory
Strong attention to detail and ability to stay alert during overnight shifts
Must be able to work over the xiskglj Christmas period What We Offer
£175 per night for 12-hour shifts
Consistent night work for a minimum of 3 months
