Hill McGlynn Recruitment are delighted to be working with a well-established property maintenance contractor to recruit a Reactive Maintenance Coordinator, based out of their busy Bromley office.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, coordinating a high volume of reactive maintenance jobs across multiple trades and property types.
The Role You\'ll be the key link between customers and engineers, managing and prioritising incoming maintenance requests – up to 2,000 call-outs a month – ensuring the right tradesperson is sent to the right job at the right time.
Duties include:
- Logging and scheduling reactive maintenance call-outs for domestic and commercial properties
- Allocating jobs to engineers including Gas Engineers, Plumbers, Electricians, Roofers, and AC/HVAC Engineers
- Responding to emergency call-outs and prioritising urgent repairs
- Coordinating daily workloads and ensuring SLAs and client expectations are met
- Liaising with customers and engineers to provide updates on job progress
- Maintaining accurate records and job documentation in the internal system
- Previous experience in a helpdesk, scheduling, or coordination role within maintenance, repairs, or facilities management preferred
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-moving environment
- Strong IT skills and familiarity with scheduling software or CRM systems
- A team player with a proactive, customer-focused attitude
