Hill McGlynn is proud to be partnering with a respected and rapidly growing M&E subcontractor to appoint an experienced Mechanical Project Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional to join a well-established team delivering high-quality mechanical projects across London and the South East.

The Role

As Mechanical Project Manager, you will take ownership of a portfolio of small to medium-sized mechanical projects ranging in value from £1,500 to £250,000. You will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining strong client relationships. You will be based out of London, with travel to client sites across London and the South East. Hybrid working options are available where appropriate. You will have full autonomy over your own diary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple mechanical projects simultaneously from inception to completion
  • Oversee planning, scheduling, procurement, and coordination of site activities
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and company procedures
  • Liaise directly with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Monitor project progress, cost control, and quality assurance
  • Prepare progress reports and manage documentation

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing multiple concurrent mechanical projects
  • Strong technical understanding of mechanical building services
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to lead projects independently and maintain positive client relationships
  • Full UK driving licence
