Our client delivers high-quality residential schemes across London and the South East, and this role offers an excellent opportunity for a commercially strong Senior Quantity Surveyor to take a lead role on multiple developments.
The Role
- Full commercial management of residential development projects
- Preparing and managing budgets, forecasts, and cost reports
- Procurement and management of subcontractors and suppliers
- Valuing works, managing variations, and negotiating final accounts
- Managing commercial risk and ensuring profitability
- Supporting and mentoring junior commercial team members
- Working closely with project managers, site teams, and senior leadership
The Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within residential development or housebuilding
- Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
- Experience managing projects from pre-construction through to completion
- Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects across London and the South East
