Hill McGlynn are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager on behalf of a well‑established main contractor specialising in high‑end commercial fit‑out and cut & carve projects across London. This is an excellent opportunity to take the lead on a flagship £8m commercial refurbishment project in Fitzrovia, with the additional opportunity to oversee several smaller projects concurrently. We are specifically looking for candidates who have a proven background delivering projects within the commercial fit‑out and cut & carve sector. Experience working within occupied buildings, managing structural alterations, and delivering high‑spec refurbishment schemes is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Full project management of an £8m commercial fit‑out / cut & carve scheme
- Managing programmes, budgets, subcontractors, and site teams
- Liaising with clients, consultants, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard
- Potential oversight of additional smaller projects running alongside the main scheme
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within commercial fit‑out and cut & carve projects
- Strong technical and construction knowledge
- Excellent client‑facing and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Stable employment history with reputable contractors
- SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications preferred
