Hill McGlynn are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a well-established and growing contractor based in Sevenoaks. This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable business delivering a diverse range of construction projects across London and the South East, including:
- Roofing works
- Commercial fit outs
- Refurbishment projects
The successful candidate will play a key role in the commercial management of projects from pre-construction through to final account.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing project costs and budgets
- Preparing valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Subcontractor procurement and account management
- Cost reporting and forecasting
- Supporting project delivery teams to ensure commercial success
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients and suppliers
Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry
- Experience delivering fit out and refurbishment projects
- Roofing project experience is highly desirable
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Full UK driving licence preferred
