Hill McGlynn is currently recruiting on behalf of a reputable electrical subcontractor for an experienced JIB Gold Card Electrician to work on a hotel refurbishment project located in SW1, Westminster, London. This is a long-term contract with a duration of 2 months, offering stable work on a well-structured, multi-phase refurbishment scheme across three floors.
The Role:
- Works will include strip-out, 1st fix, and 2nd fix installation of new electrical systems in areas such as kitchens, bars, and other internal spaces within the hotel.
- The project will be delivered in multiple phases, requiring good coordination, reliability, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the strip-out of existing electrical systems
- Supporting 1st and 2nd fix installations
- Working across multiple floors and phased areas
- Installing new electrical services in kitchens, bars, and other fit-out zones
- Following instructions from site supervisors and senior electricians
- Ensuring all work is carried out safely and to specification
