Hill McGlynn Recruitment are proud to be working with a highly respected training provider specialising in Health & Social Care, Commercial, and Educational sector training. Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a Clinical Trainer to join their close-knit and supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Registered Nurse or Health Care Professional looking to move into a training-focused role, with full support and development provided for those new to training, or someone who is a Trainer already, looking for a new company to grow with.
The Role
As a Clinical Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering engaging clinical training courses to nurses and care staff within nursing homes, care homes, and residential care settings across the UK, mainly in the South East. Training topics include clinical skills such as blood taking, tracheostomy care, stoma care, enteral feeding, and other essential nursing competencies, ensuring healthcare professionals remain up to date with current best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering clinical training courses to nurses and care staff - Training day times: 10am - 4.30pm
- Providing both practical and classroom-based training sessions
- Ensuring training content remains current and aligned with industry best practice
- Preparing and maintaining training materials and course resources
- Supporting learners through engaging and interactive delivery methods
- Completing monthly reports and administration duties
- Attending CPD and shadowing opportunities to support professional development
- Collecting and maintaining training equipment where required
Requirements
- Qualified Nurse with an active or previously active NMC PIN
- Passion for training, mentoring, and developing others
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Comfortable travelling to client sites
- Organised and self-motivated with excellent time management skills
- Previous training experience beneficial but not essential
Ideal location of candidate: Kent / South London / Surrey (so you can visit the office in Maidstone Kent when required)
