Hill McGlynn is currently recruiting on behalf of a reputable electrical subcontractor for an experienced Electrical Improver to work on a hotel refurbishment project located in SW1, Westminster, London. This is a long-term contract with a duration of 3 months, offering stable work on a well-structured, multi-phase refurbishment scheme across three floors.
The Role:
You’ll be supporting qualified electricians with the strip-out, 1st fix, and 2nd fix installation of new electrical systems in areas such as kitchens, bars, and other internal spaces within the hotel. The project will be delivered in multiple phases, requiring good coordination, reliability, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the strip-out of existing electrical systems
- Supporting 1st and 2nd fix installations
- Working across multiple floors and phased areas
- Installing new electrical services in kitchens, bars, and other fit-out zones
- Following instructions from site supervisors and senior electricians
- Ensuring all work is carried out safely and to specification
Requirements:
