Hill McGlynn Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a popular and expanding local pub in Sittingbourne for a Part-Time Chef to join their friendly team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in a busy pub kitchen who enjoys preparing quality, home-style food in a welcoming environment.
The Role
You will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, including:
- Traditional pub meals
- Breakfasts
- Evening meals
- Sandwiches and light bites
- Daily specials
Working Hours
Friday: 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Saturday: 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Additional weekday day and evening shifts available to provide holiday and sickness cover.
Requirements
- At least 1 year's experience cooking in a pub or similar environment.
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Passion for producing quality food and maintaining high hygiene standards.
- Reliable, friendly and a team player.
Pay
£15.00 per hour, available on either a PAYE or self-employed basis.
The Opportunity
This is a directly employed position with our client, and the landlord will contact suitable applicants directly. There is a genuine opportunity for this role to develop into additional hours as the pub continues to successfully grow its customer base and expand its food offering.
