Hill McGlynn is proud to be partnering with a reputable main contractor to recruit an experienced Estimator to join their team, based in Chatham. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the pre-construction phase of a wide range of high-profile projects across London and the South East.
- Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations
- Identify risks, opportunities, and value engineering options
- Collaborate with internal teams including design, commercial, and operations
- Attend meetings with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders as required
Proven experience as an Estimator within the construction industry is essential, along with a strong background in new build, fit out, refurbishment, and/or cut & carve projects (highly desirable). Excellent numerical, analytical, and commercial skills are required, as well as proficiency in relevant estimating software and Microsoft Office.
