Our client specialises in delivering refurbishment and new build projects within live healthcare environments, offering a stable workload and excellent long-term career prospects.
The Role
As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial team in the successful delivery of healthcare construction projects from inception through to completion. This role offers strong development opportunities within a highly regulated and technically challenging sector.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with cost control, budgeting, and forecasting
- Supporting the preparation of valuations and applications for payment
- Assisting with subcontractor procurement and account management
- Monitoring project costs and reporting on variations
- Supporting the preparation of final accounts
- Liaising with site teams, clients, and subcontractors
About You:
- Degree or HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
