Overview

Hill McGlynn are currently recruiting an experienced Pipefitter for a commercial refurbishment project in Wolverhampton. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and reliable individual to join a well-established mechanical contractor, carrying out copper pipe installation work on a short to medium-term contract.

Responsibilities

  • Installing copper tube to radiators throughout the school building.
  • Measuring, cutting, and bending copper pipework to specification.
  • Using hand tools and drills to secure pipework and fittings.
  • Working in line with drawings and site instructions.
  • Maintaining high standards of health and safety on site.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience working as a pipefitter in commercial settings.
  • Competent in copper tube installation (soldered or press-fit).
  • Must have own hand tools and battery drill.
  • Valid CSCS card (essential).
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail.
