Overview
Hill McGlynn are currently recruiting an experienced Pipefitter for a commercial refurbishment project in Wolverhampton. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and reliable individual to join a well-established mechanical contractor, carrying out copper pipe installation work on a short to medium-term contract.
Responsibilities
- Installing copper tube to radiators throughout the school building.
- Measuring, cutting, and bending copper pipework to specification.
- Using hand tools and drills to secure pipework and fittings.
- Working in line with drawings and site instructions.
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety on site.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience working as a pipefitter in commercial settings.
- Competent in copper tube installation (soldered or press-fit).
- Must have own hand tools and battery drill.
- Valid CSCS card (essential).
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
