Hill McGlynn are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Tester to start work on a commercial contract in Gravesend. This will be a fast programme with the works completing early March. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing and inspecting electrical systems and components to ensure they meet safety and performance standards. This role requires a thorough understanding of electrical systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently. Key Responsibilities: * Conduct electrical testing and inspections on various systems and components. * Identify and diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and tools. * Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. * Document and report test results, including any defects or issues found. * Collaborate with engineers and other team members to resolve electrical problems. * Maintain and calibrate testing equipment. * Stay updated with industry standards and advancements in electrical testing technology. Required: – 2391 or 2394 Qualifications – JIB Approved Card holder – 3 years of Testing experience – Fully qualified BS 7671 (IEE Wiring Regulations 18th Edition). – Own calibrated kit ( not essential ) This role is being offered on a self-employed contract basis with an hourly rate up to £28 DOE.
