Mechanical Project Manager
£60,000 - £65,000 + Package | Kent | Kent, Sussex & London

Our client is an establishedcontractor based in Kent, with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality mechanical and electrical building services across the South East.

With a growing project pipeline and an increasing workload, they are looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join their team.

The business delivers a range of building services projects, with a particularly strong mechanical focus. They work closely with clients, consultants, main contractors and specialist subcontractors to deliver technically complex projects to a high standard.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager looking to join an established and growing contractor where you will have genuine responsibility for project delivery.

The Role
As Mechanical Project Manager, you will take responsibility for managing the mechanical elements of M&E and building services projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover. xgikmsk
You will be based from the company's Kent head office, with regular travel required to sites across Kent, Sussex and parts of London.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing mechanical projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover
  • Taking responsibility for project programmes, budgets and delivery
  • Managing mechanical subcontractors, suppliers and site teams
  • Coordinating mechanical works with electrical and other building services disciplines
  • Reviewing drawings, specifications, schedules and technical documentation
  • Liaising with clients, consultants, main contractors and other project stakeholders
  • Attending project and site meetings
  • Managing procurement of materials, equipment, labour and specialist subcontractors
  • Monitoring project costs, budgets, variations and commercial performance
  • Identifying and resolving technical and programme issues
  • Ensuring mechanical installations are delivered in accordance with specifications and relevant standards
