Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years Oil/Gas/Refining/Petrochemical experience.
- Mechanical packages, static equipment (columns, vessels), rotating equipment (compressors, pumps) etc.
Responsibilities
- Manage and co-ordinate the procurement process related to this discipline.
- In the event of a potential threat to the Project completion dates, identify remedial measures to correct and provide recommendations to the Project Director / Project Manager. Implement such measures, subject to the approval of the Company.
- Manage and co-ordinate the discharge of Mechanical duties as defined in the contract agreements.
- Manage liaison by the project team with relevant statutory authorities and utility providers.
- Advise on site logistics related with mechanical items.
- Provide expert opinion on Design issues that arise.
- Monitor the results of the tests and agree suitable measures with the Project Team in the event that failures occurred.
- Oversee timely and within Budget delivery of the overall Design effort.
- Review Design progress and verify correctness of progress recorded on Monthly basis.
- Review findings of value engineering workshops and provide comments.
- Review findings of Build-ability reviews and provide comments.
- Provide narrative and review progress and existing issues on the Monthly Report.
