Hill Interior Contracts Ltd are seeking an experienced Commercial Floor Layer to join our growing team, working on projects across the West Midlands. The successful candidate will start ASAP and will be required to undertake a variety of floor-laying tasks.
Responsibilities
- Installation of commercial flooring including vinyl, carpet tiles, capped and coved safety flooring, vinyl joint welding.
- Subfloor preparation including liquid/ sheet DPMs and latex smoothing compounds.
- Working efficiently on live commercial sites while maintaining high standards of workmanship, with knowledge of different types of flooring materials.
- Adherence to health & safety requirements at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial flooring installation.
- Valid CSCS card (preferred but not essential).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail and time management.
- Good communication skills.
- Own tools.
- Full UK driving licence.
