Want to step away from the drawing board and actually lead? This is your chance to take ownership of a growing design team, shape how it operates, and work with the freedom and flexibility most subcontractors do not offer. This opportunity is being offered on a permanent basis with all the associated benefits, such as 25 days annual leave, travel reimbursed, and a three month notice period either way once you have passed probation.
The golden egg? You can do this through CIS, limited company, or PAYE. Your money, you decide.
Eighteen months ago, my favourite client in the drylining market decided to go full design and build with BIM capabilities. A massive risk, but with risk comes reward and opportunity, and that is what happens when you work for a company that has more entrepreneurial spirit than Steve Jobs.
We are partnered together to build this design team and therefore they are looking for two technical Design Managers who understand how drywall is built. You need to have a background in technical detailing for drylining, but do not worry, this role will not involve too much drawing. It is very much a management position. Managing tier one clients, heading up design meetings, making decisions with conviction, and managing a team of technical CAD and Revit technicians.
