We are recruiting for a Commercial Manager to join a specialist groundworks and civil engineering contractor based in Watford. This role will suit someone from a strong groundworks, civil engineering or infrastructure background. The business delivers groundworks, drainage, infrastructure and enabling works packages across the education, healthcare, public sector and modular construction sectors. This position offers the opportunity to take full ownership of the commercial function across multiple live projects within a growing contractor environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full commercial management across multiple live projects
- Preparation and management of CVRs as part of the role
- Valuations, variations and final accounts
- Subcontract procurement and subcontract management
- Commercial reporting and forecasting
- Risk management and cost control across all projects
- Working closely with operational teams
Requirements:
- Experience as a Commercial Manager, Managing Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor
- Strong background in groundworks, civil engineering or infrastructure
- Experience delivering CVRs, valuations and final accounts
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
