Our client is a well-established specialist contractor renowned for delivering award-winning heritage restoration and conservation projects across the South of England. With a strong pipeline of prestigious works across Dorset and Portsmouth, they are now expanding their skilled on-site team.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Stonemasons, Stone Fixers, Heritage Bricklayers, and Restorers to join a highly respected and collaborative team working on historically significant projects.

To be considered for this role, the successful candidate will require the following:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out traditional stone masonry and stone fixing works on listed buildings and heritage assets
  • Restore, replace, or conserve damaged stonework to the highest craftsmanship standards
  • Collaborate with site managers, conservation architects, and heritage consultants
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in accordance with health and safety procedures
  • Travel to and work on multiple projects across Dorset and Portsmouth as needed
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Stonemasonry (or equivalent)
  • Valid Black or Gold CSCS Card
  • Previous experience working on heritage or conservation projects
  • Proficient in banker masonry, stone fixing, and/or traditional brickwork
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and method statements
  • Excellent attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality restoration work
