£85,000 - £100,000 per annum plus electric car, Bonus 12.5%, Private Health, life Insurance and 25 days holiday Pension 4% EE with a 5% ER.
You will be working exclusively in the data centre fit out market. An agile environment where success is recognised quickly, responsibility comes early, and progression is essential. The pathway to Commercial Director is not a long-term aspiration here, but the next step for you. You will need to evolve quickly with the business as it grows rapidly.
You will join a scaling data centre fit-out specialist operating across the UK and Europe. In the last four years, the business has grown from nothing to £20M turnover. In the next 18 months, due to their secured pipeline, this will grow to £100M. This new data centre fit out company is backed by a global PLC that provides the infrastructure, financial investment and stability needed to grow this quickly.
The business designs, manufactures and installs specialist fit-out systems for data centres, including structural ceilings, white wall, flooring, hack systems, ventilation and hot and cold containment.
This is a hands-on commercial role where you will take ownership of both the strategic and day-to-day aspects of project delivery. You will manage commercial risk across contracts, while still remaining close to the detail through traditional quantity surveying responsibilities. You will also play a key part in developing the commercial department and building a team around you as the business grows.
The role also offers international exposure, with travel across the UK and Europe. They are flexible so working at home is fine but international travel is a prerequisite. You need to be adaptable and dynamic enough to deal with this fast-paced environment.
They are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager who combines strong contractual awareness with a practical, delivery-focused mindset. Someone who understands risk, can operate independently, and has the ambition and capability to step into a senior leadership role as the business continues its rapid expansion.
