Site Manager β Metal Ceiling Projects
Over the last 15 years, specialist ceiling contractors have increasingly merged with drylining businesses, blurring the once clearly defined niche skill set. That said, highly focused metal ceiling projects very much still exist, and this is one of them. Our client, a recognised specialist and industry leader in the design, manufacture, and installation of metal, chilled & heated, and fire-rated ceiling systems, has secured a Β£10M metal ceiling package in Oxford. This flagship, technically demanding scheme spans two buildings, with each requiring a dedicated Site Manager to oversee delivery of approximately Β£5M per building.
They are seeking experienced Site Managers to take full ownership of each building, reporting into a visiting Contract Manager. These roles are ideal for hands-on leaders who thrive on high-profile, complex projects where coordination, sequencing, and attention to detail are critical. Strong technical knowledge of metal ceiling systems and installation methods is essential, as is the ability to manage on-site teams, subcontractors, and interfaces with other trades.
This is a great opportunity to move away from smaller owner-managed subcontracting environments and into a company with structure, stability, and genuine investment in its people. Our client provides exceptional training and development, combining in-house product and systems training with external professional qualifications. This includes progression towards NVQ Level 7, advanced planning expertise using Asta, and development of strong, confident leadership capability.
If you are an experienced Site Manager with a proven track record on metal ceiling installations and are ready for a high-profile challenge, apply today or contact us directly for a confidential discussion.
