Our client, a leading UK housebuilder, is seeking a Senior Site Manager to lead a large residential development in West Sussex. You will oversee all on-site operations, ensuring homes are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the site as the No.1 Senior Site Manager.
- Manage subcontractors, trades, and suppliers to maintain programme and quality.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct inductions, daily briefings, and toolbox talks.
- Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement solutions to keep works on schedule.
- Carry out inspections, snagging, and quality checks prior to handover.
- Maintain site records, reports, and resource planning.
Experience & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager on residential housing projects.
- Background in traditional build housing.
- SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), and First Aid certification.
- Strong leadership, communication, and subcontractor management skills.
- Knowledge of UK building regulations, NHBC standards, and quality assurance processes.
