The Role As Senior Designer, you will take ownership of the design process across a range of workplace and commercial projects, working closely with the wider project team to ensure designs are developed and delivered to a high standard. Key responsibilities will include: * Leading the design process from concept through to detailed design and delivery. * Producing high-quality design drawings, specifications, presentations and documentation. * Working closely with architects, consultants, project managers and clients to develop effective design solutions. * Attending site visits and surveys to assess existing conditions and ensure designs are practical and deliverable. * Coordinating design information throughout the project lifecycle. * Ensuring designs meet relevant building regulations, construction standards and client requirements. * Researching materials, finishes, products and emerging workplace design trends. * Contributing creative and sustainable design solutions across projects. * Managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively. * Supporting and mentoring junior members of the design team where required. * Working closely with the delivery team to ensure design intent is maintained through construction. About You We are looking for a creative and technically capable designer with a strong background within commercial interiors, workplace design, construction or a related environment. You will ideally have: * 5+ years' professional design experience within the building, construction, interiors or workplace sector. * Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite. * A good understanding of construction methods, detailing and technical design. * Knowledge of relevant building regulations and industry standards. * Experience working collaboratively with clients, consultants and construction teams. * Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills. * The ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines. * Strong communication and presentation skills. * A creative, proactive approach with the ability to develop practical design solutions. * A relevant degree or qualification in Design, Architecture, Interior Design or a related discipline would be advantageous.
