Their head office is based in Hertfordshire, with live projects situated throughout London and the surrounding Home Counties.
The Opportunity
Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of high-value projects, we are seeking a talented Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious QS looking to build a long-term career within the super prime sector, working on exceptional residential schemes ranging from boutique refurbishments to multi-million-pound luxury developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full commercial lifecycle across super prime residential and luxury fit-out projects.
- Prepare, manage, and review tender documentation, cost plans, and bills of quantities.
- Conduct accurate valuations, variations, cost reporting, and final accounts.
- Work closely with project managers, designers, subcontractors, and clients to maintain rigorous cost control.
- Undertake procurement of subcontractors and materials in line with project budgets and timelines.
- Ensure commercial and contractual compliance across all projects.
- Provide clear, timely financial reporting to senior management and stakeholders.
- Support the business in developing commercial strategies for future growth.
Skills & Experience Required
- Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within main contracting, ideally with exposure to luxury residential or high-end fit-out sectors.
- Strong understanding of JCT contracts and standard cost management processes.
- Exceptional attention to detail and passion for delivering work to the highest standard.
- Ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously and manage changing priorities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline (preferred).
- Full UK driving licence (due to travel within London & the Home Counties).
