Quality Manager – Cladding & Facades We are looking for an experienced Quality Manager to join the project delivery team on a major HS2 project, taking responsibility for quality management across roofing, rooflight and façade packages. Reporting to the Quality Lead, you will oversee the quality inspection team and work closely with operational, technical and client teams to ensure all works are delivered in accordance with project specifications, approved drawings and quality requirements. You will play a key role in driving a Right First Time culture, ensuring quality is built into every stage of the installation process rather than addressed once problems arise. As the Quality Manager, you will lead the development and implementation of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), ensuring appropriate inspection stages, hold points and acceptance criteria are in place for each package of works. You will manage the approval process with the client, review quality aspects of method statements and ensure inspection procedures remain relevant throughout the project. You will be responsible for managing the workload and performance of the Quality Inspectors, monitoring inspection records and ensuring all required checks are completed, verified and signed off. Working closely with the construction and package management teams, you will oversee the management of non-conformances, corrective actions, quality audits and high-risk reviews. You will also take ownership of the quality reporting process, monitoring progress against project requirements, overseeing the compilation of quality record packs and ensuring all documentation is completed and submitted in line with project and client requirements. What we are looking for: * Previous experience as a Quality Manager, QA Manager, QA/QC Lead or Clerk of Works on a major construction project. * Strong technical understanding of roofing, rooflights, facades and cladding systems. * Background within a specialist subcontractor or building envelope contractor environment. * Experience managing Quality Inspectors and coordinating quality activities across multiple work packages. * Good understanding of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Inspection and Test Records (ITRs), NCRs and quality audits. * Experience dealing with clients, operational teams and technical departments to agree quality requirements and resolve issues. * Knowledge of ISO 9001, UK Building Regulations and relevant industry standards. * Experience using digital construction platforms to manage inspections, quality records and reporting. * Construction Management experience within roofing, façade or cladding disciplines would be advantageous. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality Manager with a strong roofing, cladding and façade background to take a leading role in quality delivery on a major infrastructure project.
