Quality Inspector – Facades & Cladding We are looking for an experienced Quality Inspector to join the project delivery team on a major HS2 project overseeing quality across façade and cladding packages. Reporting to the Quality Lead, you will play an important role in ensuring façade and cladding installations are delivered in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and project quality standards. Working closely with site supervisors, installation teams and package managers, you will carry out inspections throughout the installation process, identify potential issues and ensure work is completed right first time. As the Quality Inspector, you will manage and implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), monitor critical inspection and hold points, and ensure all installation checks are completed and properly recorded. You will use digital construction systems to capture inspection evidence, maintain quality records and track progress against project requirements. You will also be responsible for identifying and reporting non-conformances, working with site and package management teams to investigate defects, agree corrective actions and ensure issues are resolved. The role will include supporting quality audits, high-risk reviews, supplier inspections and the preparation of quality documentation for project handover. What we are looking for: * Previous experience as a Quality Inspector, Site QA Inspector or Site Supervisor within a façade, cladding or building envelope environment. * Strong understanding of façade and cladding systems, including installation methods, fixings, brackets and interfaces. * Ability to identify poor workmanship, installation defects, water ingress risks and issues with weatherproofing and building envelope integrity. * Understanding of façade interfaces, thermal performance, insulation and fire-stopping requirements. * Knowledge of relevant industry standards, building regulations and material compliance. * Experience working with ITPs, inspection records, NCRs and quality assurance procedures. * Confident using digital construction systems to record inspections and maintain quality documentation. * Construction Management Degree or NVQ Level 6. * Gold CSCS Card. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong Quality Inspector with a façade or cladding background to join a major infrastructure project and play a key role in maintaining installation standards and delivering quality across the building envelope
