The successful candidate will play a key role in the planning and coordination of projects, working closely with project management, design and commercial teams to develop robust programmes and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to agreed timescales. This is an excellent opportunity for a Planner looking to take ownership of project programmes within a fast-paced, collaborative construction environment. The Role As Planner, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining and monitoring project programmes throughout the construction lifecycle. Key responsibilities will include: * Developing detailed project programmes from pre-construction through to completion. * Working closely with Project Managers, Commercial Managers, Designers and site teams to establish realistic and deliverable programmes. * Monitoring progress against the agreed programme and identifying potential delays or areas of risk. * Updating and maintaining programmes throughout the project lifecycle. * Providing clear programme updates, reports and progress information to project teams and senior stakeholders. * Supporting the identification of critical activities, key milestones and programme dependencies. * Working collaboratively with subcontractors and supply chain partners to ensure programme commitments are understood and maintained. * Reviewing progress on site and incorporating changes into project programmes. * Identifying potential programme risks and developing mitigation strategies. * Supporting project teams with planning, sequencing and resource requirements. * Ensuring programmes align with contractual requirements and project objectives. * Maintaining accurate planning records and providing regular progress reporting. About You We are looking for an experienced construction Planner with a strong understanding of project delivery and programme management. You will ideally have: * 5+ years' experience in construction planning, ideally within commercial interiors, workplace, refurbishment or fit-out. * Experience developing and managing detailed construction programmes. * Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, methodologies and project delivery. * Proficiency with recognised planning and project management software, such as Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject or Microsoft Project. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with project teams, subcontractors and senior stakeholders. * The ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment. * A good understanding of UK construction practices, legislation and contractual requirements. * A relevant construction, planning or project management qualification would be advantageous.
