We are working with a specialist construction contractor delivering refurbishment, groundworks and structural alterations projects across London and the South East. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join their delivery team in London. This Site Supervisor role will involve supporting the Site Manager in the day-to-day running of live refurbishment, groundworks and structural alterations projects, including a project in South Kensington, alongside schemes in East London, the City and the Northern Home Counties.
As a Site Supervisor, you will play a key role in coordinating subcontractors, monitoring site activity and ensuring works are delivered safely and to programme.
Key Responsibilities:- Supporting the Site Manager with day-to-day site operations
- Coordinating subcontractors and site activities
- Monitoring progress of refurbishment, groundworks and structural alteration works
- Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained on site
- Carrying out site inductions, toolbox talks and daily reporting
- Assisting with site logistics and sequencing of works
- Experience as a Site Supervisor within construction
- Background in refurbishment, groundworks or structural alterations projects
- Strong understanding of site health and safety procedures
- Ability to manage subcontractors and site activities
- SMSTS or SSSTS, CSCS and First Aid (preferred)
- £50,000 – £60,000 salary plus package
