We are working with a specialist construction contractor delivering refurbishment, groundworks and structural alterations projects across London and the South East. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their delivery team in London.

This Site Manager role will involve managing the day-to-day site operations on live refurbishment, groundworks and structural alterations projects, including a live project in South Kensington, alongside schemes in East London, the City and the Northern Home Counties.

As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for delivering safe, efficient and high-quality construction works, ensuring projects are completed on programme and to specification.

Key Responsibilities
  • Day-to-day management of refurbishment, groundworks and structural alterations sites
  • Management and coordination of subcontractors and site labour
  • Sequencing and programming of works in line with project requirements
  • Ensuring strict health and safety compliance at all times
  • Running site inductions, toolbox talks and daily reporting
  • Liaising with commercial and project teams to ensure smooth delivery
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager within construction
  • Strong background in refurbishment, groundworks or structural alterations projects
  • Experience delivering live London projects
  • Strong understanding of health and safety legislation and site compliance
  • SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid (preferred)
