They are currently seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join their London team and lead the estimating function for their prestigious developments.
Role Overview
The Senior Estimator will play a key role in the preconstruction process, producing accurate, competitive, and commercially viable cost estimates for high-value projects. This includes managing tender submissions, coordinating with internal teams and subcontractors, and providing insight to support strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities
- Estimating & Tender Management
- Lead the preparation of detailed cost estimates for high-value residential projects.
- Review drawings, specifications, and tender documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to gather pricing information.
- Prepare, submit, and present tender proposals in line with company standards and deadlines.
- Analyse project costs, risks, and profitability, providing recommendations to senior management.
- Maintain and enhance estimating systems, templates, and processes.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior estimating staff where required.
- Work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and commercial teams to ensure estimates reflect project objectives.
- Contribute to value engineering and cost control initiatives.
