Senior Electrical Engineer in London

Our client is looking for an experienced Electrical Compliance Engineer to lead statutory inspections, manage M&E contractors, and provide technical assurance across their social housing stock. This is a temporary role, ideal for an engineer ready to make an immediate impact.

What you’ll do:

Lead electrical inspections, testing, and remedial works

Review and approve designs, specifications, and contractor proposals

*

Oversee contractors to ensure compliance, safety, and value for money

*

Support capital projects and planned works from an electrical perspective

*

Identify and manage risks, producing clear reports for senior officers

What we’re looking for:

*

Degree or equivalent in Electrical/Building Services Engineering

*

Chartered Engineer (CEng) or working towards

*

Strong knowledge of BS 7671, xiskglj Electricity at Work Regulations, HTMs, and British Standards

*

Proven experience in local authority, public sector, or multi-asset estates

*

Ability to hit the ground running in an interim capacity
