We are recruiting an experienced Senior Construction Planner to join a growing, family-run construction business operating across the UK. This role supports the pre-construction team in creating accurate and effective construction programmes for tender and project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Develop tender programmes and construction sequences using first principles and tender drawings
- Work with pre-construction teams to develop bidding strategies and methodologies
- Produce clear programme and logistics drawings for tender submissions
- Communicate effectively with site teams and senior management
- Ensure all tender and project documentation is complete and accurate
- Travel to sites as required to support project planning and logistics
- Use Asta Power Project software to create and maintain programmes (training provided if required)
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong understanding of construction build sequences, processes, and contract forms
- Ability to construct programmes from first principles using tender drawings
- Excellent organisation and time management skills, with ability to work to tight deadlines
- Strong written and presentation skills
- Experience with Asta Power Project software desirable (training provided if required)
- Degree in Construction Management or related discipline preferred; candidates from site-based backgrounds will be considered
- Right to work in the UK and a full driving licence
