Estimator – Super Prime Residential Location: Surrey Projects: Country Sector: Super Prime | Luxury Residential | High-End Refurbishment An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Estimator to join a prestigious specialist contractor operating within the super prime residential sector. Based out of their Surrey office, the successful candidate will support the delivery of some of the UK's most exclusive and high-profile residential projects. The business has built an exceptional reputation for delivering luxury homes, bespoke refurbishments and one-of-a-kind properties, with projects located across London, the Home Counties and throughout the UK. This role will suit an experienced Estimator with a proven background working on super prime and high-end residential projects, with a strong understanding of bespoke construction, luxury finishes and complex refurbishment. The Role As Estimator, you will take responsibility for the full estimating process, preparing detailed and accurate cost plans and tender submissions for high-value residential projects. Working closely with the commercial team, project managers, architects, designers and specialist subcontractors, you will ensure projects are accurately priced from initial enquiry through to contract award. This is an excellent opportunity to work on some truly exceptional residential schemes where attention to detail, quality and cost accuracy are critical. Key Responsibilities * Prepare detailed estimates, cost plans and tender submissions for super prime residential projects. * Manage the estimating process from initial enquiry through to tender submission and handover. * Obtain and assess quotations from specialist subcontractors and suppliers. * Review drawings, specifications and design information to ensure accurate pricing. * Work closely with architects, designers and internal project teams throughout the tender process. * Identify project risks, opportunities and value engineering solutions. * Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and specialist subcontractors. * Support the commercial and project delivery teams with accurate cost information. Requirements * Proven experience as an Estimator within the super prime or high-end residential sector. * Strong experience pricing complex residential refurbishment and construction projects. * Excellent understanding of bespoke finishes, specialist materials and high-end construction methods. * Strong knowledge of the subcontractor and supplier market within luxury residential construction. * Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and tender information. * Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail. * Strong communication and negotiation skills. * Ability to manage multiple tenders and priorities simultaneously. * Relevant Quantity Surveying, Construction or Commercial qualification would be advantageous.
