Due to an internal promotion and continued growth, our client is now looking to appoint an experienced Facades & Cladding Contract Manager to take responsibility for a portfolio of design and build projects with an annual value of circa £10m. As Contract Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of multiple facades and cladding projects, working closely with Tier One main contractors, consultants and internal teams. You will provide leadership to Project Managers and Site Managers while reporting directly to the Managing Director. This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who can balance commercial awareness, technical knowledge and people leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and deliver multiple design and build facades and cladding contracts with a combined annual value of approximately £10m
- Programme projects effectively, ensuring key milestones, resources and deliverables are achieved
- Act as the main point of contact with Tier One contractors, consultants and clients
- Lead, mentor and support Project Managers and Site Managers reporting into you
- Oversee project performance across health & safety, quality, programme and commercial outcomes
- Work collaboratively with the Managing Director and senior team to support wider business objectives
- Promote and uphold the company's ethical values, team ethos and no-blame culture
- Proven experience as a Contract Manager within facades and cladding
- Strong background delivering design and build projects
- Demonstrable experience managing multiple projects and teams simultaneously
- Experience working with Tier One contractors
- Excellent programming, planning and organisational skills
- A natural leader with a collaborative, solutions-focused approach
- High levels of honesty, integrity and professionalism
