Carpentry Estimator We are currently partnered with a lovely carpentry subcontractor who specialise in second fix carpentry, internal fit out projects. They are based in Ruislip and cover projects within the M25 in both commercial and residential markets. Due to an increase in tender enquiries coupled with their projected growth plan, together we are searching for an Estimator. They are quite open to the level of Estimator. They are happy to train and develop you in your career, offering one-to-one mentorship from the Commercial Director, who will provide you with the knowledge of carpentry fit out and train you in first principals estimating. This is where you can build up rates from scratch, using labour, plant and material. Equally they are also happy to take on a seasoned carpentry Estimator. Perhaps you come from a background on the tools as a chippie and decided life on site had taken its toll, moving into estimating. Should you come from this background, you must have previous experience of pricing carpentry fit out projects up to the value of £5M. You will be able to provide analytical estimating services to produce compliant tenders for main contractors. You will be joining a team of friendly people, working for a company with an extremely low turnover of staff, who regularly go out for a few drinks on Fridays, often do charity fun days and will always support you both professionally and personally.
