Bristol City Centre | £50M+ Refurbishment & Retrofit Scheme. We are working with a leading commercial fit out contractor delivering a major £50M+ refurbishment and retrofit project in Bristol City Centre, transforming a large-scale development into a high-quality modern workspace.
Due to continued project progression, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to join the delivery team. The successful candidate will have a strong background delivering either Cat A or Cat B commercial fit out projects, with the ability to manage site operations, coordinate subcontractors and ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.
The Role
- Managing day-to-day site operations and ensuring works are delivered in line with the programme
- Coordinating subcontractors, site teams and specialist trades
- Ensuring all works are completed to the required quality and specification
- Working closely with the Project Manager and wider delivery team
- Monitoring progress and supporting the delivery of key project milestones
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety across site
- Managing site logistics, sequencing and coordination of trades
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and construction information
- Supporting the resolution of technical and construction-related issues
About You
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within commercial fit out, refurbishment or retrofit
- Experience delivering Cat A or Cat B fit out projects
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, site coordination and subcontractor management
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a large project team
- Relevant CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid qualifications
