Finishing Foreman

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finishing Foreman to join a well-established specialist contractor with a strong reputation in façade restoration, conservation, and high-end external works. The business is currently delivering a complex conservation and façade repair package on a prominent live education campus in Bournemouth, working in partnership with a Tier 1 main contractor. This Finishing Foreman role will play a key part in ensuring quality, detailing, and coordination across a high-spec external package, while helping to maintain programme and site safety standards. Key responsibilities for this Finishing Foreman role: * Oversee all finishing and snagging works to ensure a high-quality end product * Coordinate site teams, specialist operatives, and subcontractors * Ensure health & safety compliance and adherence to RAMS and site protocols * Monitor daily progress and assist the site management team with reporting * Liaise with main contractor teams and consultants to support smooth delivery and sign-off * Carry out regular inspections and maintain accurate quality records * Uphold conservation detailing and craftsmanship where required Requirements for this Finishing Foreman role: * Experience as a Finishing Foreman, Site Supervisor or in a similar position * Strong background in external works, façades, stonework, or heritage construction * Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality finishes * SSSTS or SMSTS and First Aid qualifications preferred * Clear communication skills and the ability to manage site teams effectively * Understanding of conservation or specialist finishes is beneficial What’s on offer: * Join a respected specialist subcontractor with ongoing high-profile projects * Contribute to the successful delivery of a key educational facility * Opportunity for continued work on future conservation and façade packages * Supportive and skilled team environment * Competitive salary of £50,000–£55,000 + benefits This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented Finishing Foreman looking to deliver high-quality external works on a technically rewarding and meaningful project.
