Role Overview
Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, you will primarily provide end‑to‑end recruitment support to key stakeholders within the firm. You will take ownership of vacancies, work collaboratively with hiring managers, and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout. You will also work closely with our Early Careers team to deliver, when needed, an effective recruitment process for our trainee and apprentice programmes.
Introduction To The Team
You will be part of a wider HR & Development team that services the firm across areas such as HR operations, employee relations, early careers, learning & development, HR systems, diversity & inclusion, talent & development and reward. Led by Chief People Officer, Carolyn Morgan, the team is currently made up of 30 people, who strive to deliver a seamless service to all Partners and employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the full recruitment lifecycle across all UK offices, including:
- Collecting vacancy briefs from hiring teams
- Posting vacancies via Hireful and creating engaging LinkedIn posts
- Screening and shortlisting candidates
- Coordinating interviews and managing candidate communications
- Managing the offer process and providing a seamless service for candidates through to onboarding
- Champion direct sourcing through avenues such as LinkedIn, our careers site, employee referral schemes
- First point of contact for recruitment queries
- Assist with managing agency relationships and administration of our PSL
- Contribute to employer branding initiatives, including creation of careers content, social media campaigns, and candidate engagement strategies
- Assist with market data collation and benchmarking exercises
- Involvement in wider recruitment projects that support inclusive hiring and the firm’s Responsible Business agenda
- Assist with producing data and insight reports for stakeholders across the firm
- Processing recruitment invoices
- Involvement in Schools Outreach Programme, supporting mock interviews and careers presentations
- Supporting when required with competency‑based interviews
- Supporting the Early Careers team when needed to review trainee and apprentice applications, coordination of interviews and assessment days and delivery of insight days and open evenings
- General administration tasks
- Supporting the wider HR team general queries and ad‑hoc tasks when required
- Work to best practice at all times
What Are We Looking For
- Legal or professional services recruitment experience (in‑house or agency)
- Strong administration and communication skills
- Excellent competence in Microsoft Office
- Ability to work as part of a wider HR team, maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive issues
