- Data analysis: Applying statistical techniques to extract meaningful information from the data.
- Data visualisation: Creating visual representations of data, such as charts and graphs, to facilitate understanding.
- Report generation: Developing clear and concise reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Providing high-level technical guidance in initiating infrastructure-based service improvements.
- Acting as a technical authority in the analysis of enhancement requests and recommending changes as required.
- Being responsible for liaison with internal / external teams to ensure delivery of technical solutions.
- Being aware of the impact of technical solutions in relation to cost and firm strategy.
- Providing specialist advice and guidance with skills transfer to members of the Support Desk and others as appropriate.
- Taking a pro-active role in identifying any issues and possible solutions that may arise within an assignment and communicating these to the manager and customer as relevant.
- Utilising and championing agreed delivery methodologies and tools, including change and release management.
- Engaging with the Finance Systems Team to perform monthly financial processes for the business.
- Keeping software up to date with the latest cumulative and security patches.
