Overview
As a key member of our team, you\’ll be the friendly face that greets our casual workforce on event days. You\’ll ensure everything runs smoothly, from accreditation to uniform allocation, and support our operational managers with event day scheduling. You will work in various front or back of house roles and be part of our overbooking strategy. You may be required to move into one of our Food and Beverage outlets following your shift in the staffing team.
Responsibilities
- Meet and Greet: Welcome our casual workforce on arrival and be their first point of contact.
- Staff Allocation: Ensure the right split between Retail and Premium staff, and assist with overbook strategy.
- Accreditation & Timesheets: Ensure everyone has the correct accreditation and shift timesheet information.
- Biometric Check-In/Out: Manage the staff name register and biometric fingerprint accessibility points.
- Uniform Management: Allocate uniforms and advise on their return after shifts.
- Changing Room Support: Provide guidance on personal belonging storage.
- Staff Delegation: Direct casuals to their correct work areas.
- Liaison: Work with staffing partners and the on-site operational team to handle staffing enquiries.
- Post-Event Duties: Assist with uniform laundry preparation and provide feedback to the HR team.
Qualifications & Experience
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact and engage with team members and staffing partners.
- Experience: Preferred: Volume staffing experience for events and sporting match days.
- Experience: Beneficial: Experience in high-performing contract catering.
