What We’re Looking For

  • NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Prior experience in a senior carer role
  • Compassionate, calm, and emotionally resilient nature
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • A genuine commitment to person-centred care

  • End-of-life care training (e.g., Gold Standards Framework, Six Steps)
  • Experience supporting families through bereavement
  • Knowledge of Advance Care Planning and DNACPR processes

About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Carer with experience to join our committed team. This is a rewarding role where you’ll support residents, ensuring they receive comfort, dignity, and quality care.
Your Role Will Include
  • Providing high-quality, person-centred care
  • Administering medication
  • Supporting residents with personal care and emotional reassurance
  • Supervising and mentoring care staff to maintain best practice
  • Liaising with families, GPs, nurses, and palliative care professionals
  • Monitoring residents’ wellbeing and promptly responding to changes
  • Upholding dignity, respect, and sensitivity at all times
