About The Role
Job Purpose: To carry out day to day maintenance on the fabric of the building, its services and grounds in order to ensure that the Care Home is maintained in a safe and efficient functional order.
Required - Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications
- Proven ability to work on own initiative and work as part of a team
- A commitment to a service, which provides support to vulnerable individuals, and which is respectful and according to the individual’s wishes
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to communicate effectively with Clients, colleagues, Managers and other persons with a legitimate interest in the service
- Decorating skills
- Basic DIY skills
- Experience of driving
- Proven ability to complete day to day repairs and maintenance to a safe & high standard
- Satisfactory Police Check and check against the DBS List (where applicable)
- Self-motivation and flexibility
- Commitment to the aims & objectives of the service and of Hill Care Ltd
